The idea of this project is to use 3D printers in educational environments to generate and share educative materials to be used at schools. This project aims to motivate teachers and students to design with the 3D printers different resources and a final collaborative product. It is recommended to have a 3D printer, and it would be great to count with expert teachers using “Tinkercad”, so that these teachers can train all members in this project so that all teachers will learn how to do it in order to multiply the training to the students at schools. The main objective is to know how to use the 3D printer, be creative and design different useful materials all together. The Music School of Komotini hosted 18 students and 5 teachers from IES LOS CERROS (school from Ubeda, Spain) from June 30 to July 2 to implement educational activities utilizing the capabilities of a 3D printer. 14 students and 6 teachers of the Music School of Komotini took part in the activities, who, with the cooperation of the teachers and students from the school in Spain, made miniature musical instruments on the 3D printer, as well as the Sword, which is the central hero of the city. More specifically, the actions were: Combining coding & 3D printing, Designing with FreeCAD (part & draft mode), Logo in 3D with Inkscape and Freecad, Music instruments with Freecad, Modeling collaboratively with tinkerCAD, Terrain2stl, Thingiverse, Modeling monuments with SketchUP, Sketchfab, Preparing 3D printing with Ultimaker Cura, Lithophanes At the same time, there were actions related to the traditional games of the two countries, traditional songs, traditional dances as well as visits to attractions in our region. On Thursday, June 30 at 11:00 am, an official welcoming event for Spanish teachers and students took place in the Music School's Amphitheater, with traditional Thracian songs as well as other melodies. Participants gave an interview in a local channel and there were also articles in newspapers
